bezobalové
Bezobalové, a Czech term translating to "package-free" or "zero-waste," refers to a growing movement and retail concept focused on reducing packaging waste. This approach encourages consumers to purchase goods without single-use packaging, typically by bringing their own reusable containers. Stores operating on the bezobalové principle, often called "bezobalové obchody" (package-free shops), offer a wide variety of products including food staples like grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, pasta, and spices, as well as cleaning supplies, personal care items, and household goods. Customers bring their own bags, jars, bottles, or boxes to fill with the desired quantity of products, paying by weight. This model aims to minimize environmental impact by significantly cutting down on the production and disposal of packaging materials. The movement is gaining traction as consumers become more aware of the environmental consequences of excessive waste and seek sustainable alternatives for their daily shopping needs.
