Beyannâme (Turkish: beyanname) is a formal written declaration used in legal, fiscal and administrative contexts in Turkey and in Ottoman-era documents. The word translates generally as "declaration" or "statement" and denotes a document by which an individual or entity reports facts, figures or claims to a public authority.

Common uses include tax returns (vergi beyannamesi), customs declarations (gümrük beyannamesi), asset and income disclosures, and various regulatory filings required of businesses and public officials. A beyannâme typically identifies the declarant, describes the subject matter being reported, lists relevant amounts or particulars, and bears required signatures or electronic authentication.

Beyannâmes have legal consequences: they form the basis for assessment, entitlement, or enforcement by the issuing authority and may trigger audits, inspections or administrative action. Filings are subject to statutory deadlines and form requirements; late, false or omitted declarations can incur penalties or criminal liability under applicable law.

In recent decades many jurisdictions that use the term have moved to electronic submission systems (often called e-beyanname), which standardize formats, facilitate validation and streamline processing. The concept remains central to public administration because it allocates reporting responsibility to private parties and creates a documented record for oversight and revenue collection.
