bashkëveprim

Bashkëveprim refers to the relationship between two or more entities in which their actions or states influence one another. It spans natural and social phenomena, including ecological interactions, human social behavior, chemical processes, and physical systems.

Etymology and usage: the term comes from bashkë- meaning together and veprim meaning action or operation, and is used in Albanian to translate "interaction" or "co-action." It can denote relationships among organisms, molecules, people, or institutions.

In biology and ecology, bashkëveprim describes interactions that shape populations, such as mutualism (both benefit), competition (fitness declines with shared resources), predation and parasitism (one benefits at the expense of the other), and commensalism (one benefits with little or no effect on the other). In sociology, it refers to how individuals and groups influence behavior, norms, and decisions. In chemistry and physics, it denotes forces and exchanges that influence states or reactions, such as chemical bonding or electromagnetic interactions. In economics and technology, interactions among agents or components shape outcomes such as market dynamics or software systems.
