Attractorit is a term encountered in some technical writings as a variant or cognate of the English word attractor. In English-language literature the standard term is attractor, but attractorit may appear in texts written in other languages or in discussions that follow non-English terminology. The concept it denotes is the same: a set in the phase space of a dynamical system toward which nearby states evolve over time.

In dynamical systems, an attractor A has the property that trajectories starting from a neighborhood of A approach A as time progresses to infinity.
