Apportations are a phenomenon reported in spiritualist and parapsychological contexts, typically described as the supernatural materialization of objects. These objects are said to appear spontaneously, often in the presence of a medium, and can range from small items like flowers or coins to larger objects. The term "apportation" derives from the French word "apporter," meaning to bring or carry.

The phenomenon is usually associated with séances or public demonstrations by mediums. Witnesses report objects appearing from seemingly empty space, sometimes being dematerialized from one location and reappearing elsewhere, or being brought into the séance room from outside without any apparent physical means of entry. Explanations offered within spiritualist circles often attribute apportations to the work of discarnate spirits or other supernatural forces.

Skeptics and researchers in parapsychology generally propose naturalistic explanations. These can include sleight of hand, misdirection, confederates, or psychological suggestion.
