AntiMPLA refers to opposition to the Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA) political party in Angola. This opposition has manifested in various forms throughout Angola's post-independence history, encompassing political, social, and sometimes armed resistance.

Historically, the MPLA emerged as one of the main liberation movements during Angola's struggle for independence from Portugal. Following independence in 1975, the MPLA assumed power, leading to protracted civil war. During this period, significant opposition came from other liberation movements, notably UNITA and the FNLA, who contested the MPLA's claim to power and its Marxist-Leninist ideology. These conflicts often involved international support for the various factions.

In the post-civil war era, opposition to the MPLA has primarily taken the form of political competition. Other political parties, such as UNITA (which transitioned from an armed movement to a political party), CASA-CE, and others, participate in elections and advocate for alternative policies and governance. Criticisms leveled against the MPLA often include allegations of authoritarianism, corruption, and the uneven distribution of Angola's wealth, particularly from oil revenues.

Public demonstrations and civil society activism also represent forms of anti-MPLA sentiment, particularly concerning issues like economic inequality, human rights, and democratic reforms.
