Analogin refers to a hypothetical or fictional concept often encountered in science fiction or speculative discussions, particularly within the context of computing and artificial intelligence. It describes a form of intelligence or consciousness that arises from or is deeply intertwined with analog systems, as opposed to the digital systems that underpin most modern computers.

Digital systems process information in discrete steps, using binary code (0s and 1s). Analog systems, on the other hand, handle information continuously, representing data through physical quantities like voltage, current, or frequency. An "analogin" intelligence would, therefore, operate on principles fundamentally different from digital AI. Its thought processes might be more fluid, nuanced, and potentially less predictable than those of a digital counterpart.
