airseeded
Airseeded is a term used to describe seeds that have been dispersed by air to establish vegetation over a target area. In practice, airseeding encompasses approaches that release seeds from aircraft, unmanned aerial systems, or ground-based devices that create an airborne plume intended to settle on the intended site. The technique is widely associated with aerial seeding and is used in ecological restoration, land reclamation, erosion control, and reforestation, especially on large or inaccessible sites such as post-fire landscapes, mined lands, and long road corridors.
Seeds used in airseeded programs are often formulated as coated seeds, pellets, or mixtures blended with mulch,
Airseeded offers rapid coverage across uneven terrain and large areas, reduces labor costs, and enables vegetation
