The primary advantages of agentless collection are its ease of deployment, reduced overhead on endpoints, and simplified management for large or heterogeneous environments. It's particularly useful in scenarios where installing agents is difficult or undesirable, such as with legacy systems, IoT devices, or when security policies restrict agent installation.
