Zártkérdések

Zártkérdések, also known as closed-ended questions, are a type of question that limits the possible answers to a predefined set of choices. Unlike open-ended questions, which allow for a free-form response, closed-ended questions typically require a simple, brief answer such as "yes" or "no," a selection from a list, or a rating on a scale.

These questions are commonly used in surveys, questionnaires, and interviews to gather specific, quantifiable data. Their structure makes them easy for respondents to answer and for researchers to analyze. Examples include multiple-choice questions, true/false statements, and Likert scale items where respondents indicate their level of agreement or disagreement.

The primary advantage of closed-ended questions is their efficiency. They can be administered to a large number of people quickly, and the data collected is readily comparable. This format is also useful for ensuring consistency in responses and for measuring specific variables.

However, closed-ended questions can also be a limitation. They may not capture the full nuance of a respondent's opinion or experience, and they can sometimes lead to superficial answers. If the predefined options do not accurately reflect a respondent's true feelings, they may be forced to choose an answer that is not entirely accurate, or they may feel frustrated by the lack of an appropriate choice. Despite these drawbacks, their utility in many research and data collection scenarios makes them a valuable tool.
