Zlepilimy

Zlepilimy is a small rural village and administrative part of a gmina in a Central European region. It lies on a flat agricultural plain, about 20 kilometers from the nearest district town. The surrounding landscape is dominated by fields, with a meandering stream running through the valley.

The name Zlepilimy is of Slavic origin, dating back to medieval times; the earliest known record of the village is from 1345. Historically, it was a farming community with a small manor and a parish church.

Today, Zlepilimy has a population of approximately 900 to 1,000 residents and a local economy focused on crop farming and animal husbandry, supplemented by small family businesses. Many residents work in agriculture, while others commute to nearby towns for services and employment.

Notable landmarks include a 17th-century parish church rebuilt after a 19th-century fire, a modest 19th-century windmill preserved as a local monument, and several traditional wooden granaries. The community hosts an annual harvest festival that features rural crafts, music, and regional cuisine.
