Zikzas

Zikzas are a fictional species native to the planet Xylos in the Andromeda galaxy. They are a sentient, silicon-based lifeform characterized by their crystalline exoskeletons and multifaceted optical sensors. Their physiology allows them to thrive in extreme environments with high radiation and temperatures that would be lethal to carbon-based life. Zikzas communicate through a complex system of resonant frequencies emitted from internal crystalline structures, which can be perceived visually as shimmering light patterns.

Their society is highly communal, organized into large, interconnected crystalline structures known as "Harmonics." Each Harmonic functions as a single, unified consciousness, with individual Zikzas acting as specialized nodes within the collective. Their technological advancements are focused on manipulating energy and matter at a subatomic level, enabling them to construct intricate energy lattices and achieve interstellar travel through controlled wormhole generation.
