Zemplénihegység
The Zemplén Mountains, known in Hungarian as Zempléni-hegység, is a mountain range located in northeastern Hungary. It is part of the larger Northern Mountains and lies predominantly within the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county. The region is characterized by its volcanic origins, with many of its peaks being extinct volcanoes. The highest point in the Zemplén Mountains is Nagy-Milic, reaching an elevation of 895 meters.
