Zelluläre

Zelluläre is a German term derived from zellulär, meaning related to cells. In scientific and academic writing it is used as an adjective to describe phenomena, structures, or systems that operate at the cellular level. The concept helps distinguish processes that occur within cells from subcellular, tissue, organ, or organismal scales. In running text the adjective is inflected according to German grammar, producing forms such as zellulär, zelluläre, zelluläres, and zellulären.

Common applications cover a range of fields. In biology and medicine one speaks of zelluläre Biologie (cell biology), zelluläre Prozesse (cellular processes like metabolism and transport), zelluläre Kommunikation (cell-to-cell signaling), and zelluläre Strukturen (cellular structures such as membranes and cytoplasm).
