Zebibytes
A zebibyte is a unit of digital information storage. It is one of the many binary prefixes used to describe very large amounts of data. The prefix "zebi" comes from the Latin word "septem" meaning seven, and it represents a factor of 2^70. Therefore, a zebibyte is equivalent to 2^70 bytes. This can also be expressed as 1,180,591,620,717,411,303,424 bytes. In practice, this means a zebibyte is considerably larger than a zettabyte, which is a decimal prefix based on powers of 10. A zettabyte is 10^21 bytes, while a zebibyte is approximately 1.18 zettabytes.
The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) introduced these binary prefixes in 1998 to avoid ambiguity when referring
