Zapovednik

A zapovednik, also known as a strict nature reserve, is a protected area designated primarily for scientific research and conservation. Originating from the Russian term “zapovednik,” meaning “reserved territory,” these parks are characterized by their strict preservation policies that limit human activity and development, aiming to maintain natural ecosystems in their undisturbed state.
