Zapadnaya
Zapadnaya (Russian: Западная) is a rural locality situated in the south‑western part of the Moscow Oblast, roughly 45 kilometres south of the regional capital Moscow and about 10 kilometres east of the larger town of Shchyolkovo. Administratively, it falls under the jurisdiction of the Shchyolkovsky District and is part of the rural settlement of Pirogovskoye. The settlement lies near the banks of the Chugusin River, which flows through the surrounding forested terrain and provides a modest water source for agricultural activity.
