Zanussi

Zanussi is an Italian brand of household appliances with origins dating to 1916, when Antonio Zanussi founded a small metalworking workshop in Pordenone, in northeast Italy. The company initially produced wood-burning stoves and later expanded into gas and electric appliances, laying the groundwork for a broader line of household products.

Through the postwar period, Zanussi grew into a major European appliance manufacturer, offering cooking appliances, heating equipment, and other kitchen components. The brand became associated with practical design and reliability, contributing to the development of modern Italian household manufacturing.

In 1984, the Swedish appliance maker Electrolux acquired Zanussi, and the brand has operated as part of the Electrolux Group since then. Under Electrolux, Zanussi has offered a range of products including ovens and cookers, hobs and hoods, refrigerators and freezers, dishwashers, washing machines, and other home appliances. The Zanussi name is used across Europe and in many other markets, with production distributed across multiple facilities worldwide and ongoing emphasis on design and development within Europe.

Today, Zanussi functions as a brand within Electrolux, maintaining a presence in the mid-range segment of the home appliance market. The brand focuses on energy efficiency, straightforward functionality, and contemporary aesthetics in its product lines.
