Zangla
Zangla is a village located in the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh, India. It lies at an altitude of approximately 12,500 feet above sea level and is part of the Lahaul and Spiti district. The village is situated on the left bank of the Zangla River, a tributary of the Spiti River. Zangla is historically significant as it was once the capital of the Zangla Kingdom, a small independent principality that existed for centuries before being integrated into the larger kingdom of Ladakh.
