These external forces are often analyzed using frameworks like PESTEL, which stands for Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Environmental, and Legal factors. Political factors involve government policies, regulations, and political stability. Economic factors encompass inflation, interest rates, economic growth, and unemployment. Social factors relate to demographic trends, cultural norms, consumer attitudes, and lifestyle changes. Technological factors include innovation, automation, and the pace of technological change. Environmental factors cover climate change, sustainability concerns, and resource availability. Finally, Legal factors include laws related to employment, consumer protection, and competition.

Understanding and adapting to the business environment is crucial for any organization.
