Yliilmaisu

Yliilmaisu, or overexpression, is a term used in genetics and molecular biology to describe a state in which a gene is expressed at higher levels than its normal physiological range. This can involve increased transcription, enhanced stability of messenger RNA, or more efficient translation, leading to elevated amounts of both mRNA and the corresponding protein.
