Yidghaspeaking

Yidghaspeaking refers to the act of communicating or writing using the Yidgha language. Yidgha is an Eastern Iranian language spoken primarily in the Yidgha-Shughnan region of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province of Tajikistan, and in neighboring areas of Afghanistan. It is closely related to Shughni and is part of the Pamir languages.

The Yidgha language has a rich oral tradition, but its written form is less widely used and standardized compared to some other languages. Speakers of Yidgha often use a modified Cyrillic alphabet for writing, though historically other scripts may have been employed.
