Xraytutkimuksissa refers to X-ray examinations or studies conducted using X-rays. X-rays are a form of electromagnetic radiation with very short wavelengths, allowing them to penetrate most objects. In medical imaging, X-rays are used to create images of the internal structures of the body. This is achieved by passing X-rays through the body and detecting the radiation that emerges on the other side. Different tissues absorb X-rays to varying degrees; for instance, bones are denser and absorb more X-rays than soft tissues, appearing lighter in the resulting image.
