Xrayspektroskopian
Xrayspektroskopian, often referred to as X-ray spectroscopy, is a technique used to determine the elemental composition and chemical state of a sample by analyzing the characteristic X-rays emitted from it. When high-energy electrons or other particles strike a sample, they can excite atoms within the material. As these excited atoms return to their ground state, they emit X-rays with specific energies that are unique to each element. These emitted X-rays can then be detected and analyzed by a spectrometer.
The energy of the emitted X-rays is directly related to the energy levels of the electrons in
X-ray spectroscopy finds applications in a wide range of fields, including materials science, geology, forensics, environmental
