Wolfmother

Wolfmother is an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 2000. The band's original lineup featured Andrew Stockdale on vocals and guitar, Chris Ross on bass, and Myles Heskett on drums. Their sound is characterized by a blend of hard rock, psychedelic rock, and stoner rock influences, often drawing comparisons to classic rock bands of the 1970s.

The band gained international attention with their debut album, "Wolfmother," released in 2005. The album featured hit singles such as "Woman" and "Joker & The Thief," which received significant airplay and contributed to the band's growing popularity. "Woman" in particular earned them a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance in 2007.

Following the success of their debut, Wolfmother released several more studio albums, including "Cosmic Egg" (2009) and "New Moon Rising" (2014). Throughout their career, the band has experienced lineup changes, with Andrew Stockdale remaining the sole constant member. Despite these shifts, Wolfmother has maintained a consistent touring schedule and a dedicated fanbase.
