Windscalepalots are a fictional species that inhabit the planet Xylos. They are known for their unique physiological adaptations to the planet's turbulent atmosphere, characterized by powerful, unpredictable winds. Physically, windscalepalots possess a streamlined body shape, allowing them to navigate the intense air currents with relative ease. Their outer covering is a tough, leathery hide that resists abrasion from wind-borne debris. A distinguishing feature is their broad, membrane-like wings, which are not used for sustained flight but rather for controlled gliding and maneuvering through the wind.
