Wiluna
Wiluna is a town and a locality in the Mid West region of Western Australia. It is situated on the northern fringe of the Goldfields, approximately 770 kilometres northeast of Perth. The town serves as the administrative centre for the Shire of Wiluna. Historically, Wiluna has been associated with mining, particularly gold. The discovery of gold in the late 19th century led to the establishment of the settlement. The Wiluna gold mine has been a significant economic driver for the region throughout its history, though its operational status has varied over time.
