Wilco

Wilco is an American rock band formed in 1994 in Chicago, Illinois, by Jeff Tweedy after the dissolution of Uncle Tupelo. The name Wilco is an abbreviation of “will comply,” a phrase commonly cited as the source of the band's name. The group blends alternative rock, indie rock, and alt-country, and has evolved from a country-influenced early sound to more experimental and layered textures in later records.
