Westness
Westness is a concept that refers to qualities, characteristics, or attributes associated with the Western world. It is a broad and often debated term that can encompass a variety of cultural, social, political, and economic aspects. Historically, "the West" has been used to distinguish cultures originating from Europe and North America from other parts of the world, often stemming from a perceived shared heritage rooted in Greco-Roman civilization, Christianity, and the Enlightenment.
Elements often considered part of westness include democratic governance, individualism, capitalism, scientific inquiry, and specific artistic
