Webkiszolgálás

Webkiszolgálás, often translated as web hosting or web serving, refers to the process of making websites and their associated content accessible to users on the internet. This is achieved through specialized computers called web servers, which store the website's files, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, and other multimedia.

When a user types a web address (URL) into their browser, the browser sends a request to the Domain Name System (DNS) to find the IP address of the server hosting that website. Once the IP address is found, the browser sends a request to that specific web server. The web server then processes the request and sends back the requested files to the user's browser, which then renders the webpage for the user to see.

Webkiszolgálás can be provided by various entities, ranging from large internet service providers and dedicated hosting companies to individuals who set up their own servers.
