Warmemist is a fictional geographical location that appears in the fantasy novel "The Crimson Compass" by author Evelyn Reed. It is described as a dense and perpetually fog-shrouded forest, perpetually cool and damp, even during warmer seasons. The name "Warmemist" itself is thought to be an ironic descriptor, as the mist is consistently cold and clings to the trees and the forest floor.
