WUXGA
WUXGA, or Widescreen Ultra Extended Graphics Array, is a computer display standard introduced by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) in 2003. It is an extension of the XGA standard, offering a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. This resolution provides a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:10, which is wider than the traditional 4:3 ratio of XGA. WUXGA is often used in professional applications such as graphic design, video editing, and digital art, where a larger canvas and higher detail are beneficial. It is also popular in gaming, offering a balance between performance and visual quality. The standard supports refresh rates up to 75 Hz, providing smooth visuals for both work and entertainment purposes. WUXGA displays are available in various form factors, including traditional CRT monitors, LCD panels, and modern OLED and QLED displays. The resolution is supported by a wide range of operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux, making it a versatile choice for users across different platforms.
