Wärmespreizers

Wärmespreizers, also known as heat spreaders, are passive devices designed to dissipate heat from electronic components. They work by increasing the surface area available for heat transfer, allowing heat to be more efficiently released into the surrounding environment. This is crucial for maintaining the performance and longevity of sensitive electronics, such as CPUs, GPUs, and power transistors, which generate significant amounts of heat during operation.

Typically, Wärmespreizers are made from highly conductive materials like copper or aluminum. The Wärmespreizer acts as an intermediary, drawing heat away from the source and presenting it to the active cooling element for removal.
