Vääntökuormia

Vääntökuormia, known in English as torsional loads or torques, refer to forces that cause an object to twist or rotate around an axis. This type of loading is fundamental in mechanics and engineering, playing a crucial role in the design and analysis of many structures and machines.

When a vääntökuorma is applied, it generates shear stress within the material of the object. This stress is distributed across the cross-section of the object, with the highest stress typically occurring at the outer surfaces.
