Vyluování

Vyluování is a Czech term that generally refers to the process of shedding or molting. This phenomenon is most commonly associated with the shedding of skin by reptiles and amphibians as they grow. The old skin, which becomes too tight, is replaced by a new, larger one underneath. During this process, the animal may be more vulnerable and may seek out secluded places to hide.

Beyond reptiles and amphibians, vyluování can also be used more broadly to describe the shedding of other biological materials. For example, some invertebrates, such as crustaceans, undergo molting to shed their exoskeletons to accommodate growth.
