Volumentikus is a term used in speculative discourse to denote a hypothetical principle governing the manipulation of volume in space or matter through a distinct field, sometimes described as volumenticity. The term derives from Latin volumen meaning volume and a suffix reminiscent of kinetic or systemic terms. In most uses, volumentikus refers to a theoretical framework rather than a proven physical phenomenon, appearing primarily in science fiction, thought experiments, and speculative physics essays.

Conceptually, volumentikus envisions a spatial substrate in which local volume can be modulated without altering mass, enabling effects such as reversible expansion, compression, or rearrangement of three-dimensional structures.
