Vollflächige

Vollflächige is a German term used in design, printing and related fields to denote that a color, texture or pattern fills an entire surface or shape. It describes a fill that extends over the whole area without leaving unfilled regions or strokes along the border. In contrast to partial fills, outlines or patterned strokes, vollflächige fills create a uniform surface.

In graphic design and digital media, vollflächige fills are common for backgrounds, logos, and user interface elements.
