Voador
Voador is a Portuguese word that translates to "flyer" or "flying thing" in English. It is most commonly associated with the term "Voador" as a nickname for the Brazilian pilot Alberto Santos-Dumont. Santos-Dumont was a pioneering aviator who conducted numerous public flights in Paris in the early 20th century. He is credited with designing, building, and flying some of the first practical airplanes. His innovative designs and daring flights earned him international fame and the affectionate nickname "O Voador."
Beyond its direct translation and association with Santos-Dumont, "Voador" can also be used more generally in
