Vlídnost is a noun in Czech (vlídnost) and Slovak (vlídnosť) that denotes kindness, gentleness, and courtesy toward others. It describes a benevolent and considerate disposition, often expressed through polite speech, attentive listening, and empathetic behavior. In everyday use, vlídnost characterizes how someone behaves in social interactions, especially in moments requiring tact or diplomacy.
