Viskoosisuutta, commonly known as viscosity, is a measure of a fluid's resistance to flow. Imagine two fluids, honey and water. Honey flows much more slowly than water, indicating it has a higher viscosity. This resistance arises from the internal friction between the fluid's molecules. As the fluid moves, layers of molecules slide past each other, and the stronger the intermolecular forces, the greater the resistance to this sliding motion.
