Vinüülrühmast

Vinüülrühmast is an organic functional group with the chemical formula C2H3. It consists of a carbon-carbon double bond where one carbon atom is bonded to two hydrogen atoms, and the other carbon atom is bonded to one hydrogen atom and the rest of the molecule. This group is also known as a vinyl group. The presence of the double bond makes the vinüülrühmast reactive, particularly in addition reactions.

The vinüülrühmast is a fundamental building block in the synthesis of many polymers. When vinüülrühmast-containing monomers undergo polymerization, they form long chains where the double bonds are converted into single bonds, linking the monomer units together.
