Vinüülemulsioone

Vinüülemulsioone, also known as vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) copolymers, are a class of synthetic polymers produced through the emulsion polymerization of vinyl acetate and ethylene. These versatile materials are widely used in various applications due to their unique properties, including flexibility, adhesion, and water resistance. The synthesis involves dispersing vinyl acetate and ethylene monomers in water with the aid of surfactants, which stabilize the resulting polymer particles.

VAE emulsions are typically water-based, making them environmentally friendly alternatives to solvent-based adhesives and coatings.
