Vicejator

Vicejator is a genus of fossilized sea sponges that lived during the Silurian period, approximately 416-397 million years ago. The name Vicejator is derived from the Latin words "vice" meaning "doubt" and "jator" which is a suffix typically used to indicate a fossil species. This genus consists of several species, found in the fossil record in various locations around the world.

Vicejator fossils can be identified by their distinctive morphology, characterized by a series of rounded or oval-shaped depressions on their surface.
