Vibratório

Vibratório is a term derived from the Portuguese word "vibração," meaning vibration. It is often used to describe anything that involves or relates to vibrations, whether mechanical, acoustic, or even conceptual. In a scientific context, vibratório can refer to the oscillatory motion of particles or objects around an equilibrium position. This motion can be regular, like a pendulum's swing, or irregular, like the tremors of an earthquake.

In acoustics, vibratório relates to sound waves, which are essentially vibrations transmitted through a medium. The frequency and amplitude of these vibrations determine the pitch and loudness of the sound. In mechanical engineering, vibratório phenomena are crucial in the design and analysis of machinery and structures.
