Vereülekandele, often referred to as blood transfusion, is a medical procedure in which donated blood or blood components are given to a recipient. This life-saving treatment is employed when a patient's body needs more blood than it can produce or has lost. Reasons for needing a transfusion can range from significant blood loss due to surgery or trauma, to conditions like anemia, certain cancers, or blood disorders where the body cannot create sufficient healthy red blood cells, platelets, or plasma.
The process involves carefully matching the donated blood with the recipient's blood type to prevent potentially
