Ventrikulärt

Ventrikulärt is a Swedish term that translates to ventricular in English. It refers to the ventricles of the heart, which are the two lower chambers of the heart. The right ventricle pumps blood to the lungs, and the left ventricle pumps blood to the rest of the body.

The term ventrikulärt can also be used in the context of ventricular arrhythmias, which are abnormal heart rhythms that originate in the ventricles. This fluid plays a crucial role in cushioning the brain, removing waste products, and maintaining a stable environment. Conditions related to the ventricular system of the brain, such as hydrocephalus, involve an abnormal accumulation of CSF within these spaces.
