Vekoinks are a type of traditional, handcrafted ceramic pottery originating from the Vek region of Central Asia, particularly associated with the Vekoi people. These vessels are renowned for their distinctive geometric patterns, earthy tones, and functional design, reflecting both artistic and practical cultural values.

The production of vekoinks involves a meticulous process. Clay sourced from local riverbeds is mixed with organic materials like straw or ash to enhance durability. After shaping by hand, the pottery undergoes a slow, controlled firing in kilns, often fueled by wood or charcoal. The firing process can take several days, contributing to the unique, slightly uneven surfaces and subtle variations in color.
