Varicaceae

Varicaceae is a plant family name that has appeared in a limited number of historical classifications but is not recognized in modern, widely accepted taxonomic systems. The term has been used inconsistently to describe various groups of flowering plants, and there has been no stable circumscription or set of diagnostic characters associated with it.
