Valfrågeexperiment, or choice experiment, is a statistical method used to determine the value that individuals place on different attributes of a good or service. It is commonly employed in economics, marketing, and environmental valuation. The core idea is to present respondents with a series of hypothetical scenarios, each offering a different combination of product or service features, along with their associated costs. By observing which option respondents choose, researchers can infer the implicit value placed on each attribute.

This method is particularly useful when dealing with non-market goods or services, such as environmental amenities or public health improvements, where direct market prices are unavailable.
