Valdastjórn

Valdastjórn is a term of Icelandic origin that broadly translates to "rule of power" or "authoritarian rule." It refers to a system of governance where power is concentrated in the hands of a single leader or a small, unelected group, and where the populace has little to no say in political decisions. This form of government typically emphasizes strong central authority, strict adherence to the ruling ideology, and often suppresses dissent or opposition.
